Paralana Hot Springs is a rare radioactive, radon-emitting hydrothermal spring system on the Paralana Fault in the northern Flinders Ranges. It is a scientific and heritage site rather than a bathing destination: the water and gas are hazardous, swimming or touching the water is prohibited, and visits should be brief and conditions-aware.
